Acre is partnering with a world-leading manufacturer of air compressors, construction equipment, industrial tools, and vacuum solutions to identify an interim ESG programme manager for an initial 6-month assignment.
The manufacturing space has the reach and scale to affect the industrial and consumer markets by developing cutting-edge products and services that don't just mitigate climate risk but provide some of the vital solutions to progress sustainability at a global level.
Responsibilities:
Act as the programme lead for communication and programme delivery between the main business and the environmental consultancy partner
Engaging a defined pool of accountable colleagues in each division to scope and ingest information which then enables the consultancy to build methodologies, plan resources, and establish a restatement and digital rollout
Programme manages and defines the data set, which successfully establishes a 'baseline' to divisional, entity, location, and activity level supported by a verified methodology, including applicable emission factors
Build a platform for a divisional-led sustainability transition roadmap from 2024 onwards
Enable an accurate mobilisation of Sustainability digital solutions enabling governance and providing the business with the basis of a solution that successfully manages the challenges of additional regulation
You will:
Be someone who embraces challenges, acts with integrity and is a natural relationship builder
Previous experience working as a programme manager with an ESG/Sustainability lens
Be a subject matter expert in change management and bring knowledge of the tools, partnerships and commercial agreements to help operationalise sustainability objectives
Understand how to deliver results in a matrix environment, creating frameworks and guidelines to measure success
A translator with tremendous patience and great communication skills
