With a strong belief in sustainability as a key driver for long-term value creation, they have been enhancing their commitment to sustainability for over a decade.

Based in Paris, you will report to the Chief Sustainability Officer as the Sustainability Operating Partner. Your role will involve supporting investment teams in analysing targets and assisting portfolio companies with their sustainability strategies, including the implementation of Science-Based Targets. The position requires travel within France and Europe.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with deal teams throughout the investment process.

  • Conduct ESG screening of potential deals, identifying key risks and opportunities.

  • Coordinate ESG due diligences with external consultants.

  • Provide practical and operational sustainability support to portfolio companies, helping them implement strategies, mitigate risks, and create opportunities.

Your Profile:

  • Minimum of 4 years of practical experience in sustainability, either in industry or consultancy.

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in Environment, Sustainability, Climate Change, ESG, or related fields. An engineering background is a plus.

  • Effective communication skills at a management level, with the ability to work independently and in a structured manner.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to lead and coordinate with external consultants.

  • Positive and proactive mindset.

  • Fluency in both verbal and written French and English is essential.
