About the Role

Acre is excited to present a unique opportunity with a prominent consultancy dedicated to becoming a global leader in responsible business. As part of their Global Legal Advisory division, you'll join a dynamic team of sustainability professionals guiding clients through the evolving landscape of Sustainable business and ESG.

Your Impact

As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will:

  • Deliver Complex Projects: Manage sustainability projects from risk assessment through to implementation and reporting.

  • Drive Tangible Outcomes: Translate sustainability principles into actionable business outcomes, focusing on climate change and the environment.

  • Strategies and Implement: Assist clients in crafting and operationalising sustainability strategies, setting targets, and defining KPIs.

  • Develop Roadmaps: Analyse policies, and create actionable plans to guide clients toward sustainability.

  • Advise on Climate Initiatives: Evaluate and recommend climate mitigation and adaptation options for achieving Net Zero or carbon neutrality.

  • Expand Services: Contribute to broader sustainable business initiatives and help identify and address key sustainability risks and opportunities.

Your Expertise

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive Experience: 6-7 years in sustainability consulting and ESG advisory.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Expertise in environmental, climate change, and nature-related regulations across the EU, US, and UK.

  • Specialised Skills: Experience in areas such as air, land, and water contamination, environmental impact assessment, waste management, emissions, climate change, renewable energy, and environmental management systems.

  • Business Acumen: Ability to understand and address key issues across various industries.

  • Relationship Building: Proven success in nurturing existing client relationships and forging new connections.

  • Passion and Resilience: Enthusiasm for responsible business practices and a proactive, results-oriented approach.

  • Excellent Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
