ROLE PURPOSE

Our client is seeking a talented leader to help us deliver impactful climate strategies, campaigns, and communication programs. You will collaborate with leading food manufacturers and retailers on projects aimed at advancing sustainable food production.

As the new consultancy leader, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth. You will lead a dynamic team, ensuring efficient and high-quality service for clients, and fostering key relationships with clients and partners. You will work and collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop the medium-term strategic growth plan for the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cultivate a strong talent management culture to build a high-quality team. Recruit, train, and retain team members, ensuring clarity on roles, goals, and priorities. Implement succession plans to manage risk and nurture talent.

  • Collaborate with the management team and internal and external stakeholders to develop a long-range company vision and mission, along with a roadmap to achieve it.

  • Deliver the consultancy's budget, requiring clear business plans, priorities, and forecasts to ensure budget compliance.

  • Create a marketing plan that includes a website and social media strategy to promote services and demonstrate their benefits through case studies.

  • Provide quarterly analysis to track and report on priorities, aiming for ongoing performance improvement and forecasting accuracy.

  • Continuously evaluate ways to enhance product offerings and delivery effectiveness in line with client needs, market conditions, and legislation.

  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape to communicate unique selling points effectively and develop case studies to demonstrate impacton delivering change.

  • Evolve business processes, systems, and policies to ensure scalability, access to timely data for informed decision-making, and compliance with regulations.

  • As a member of the senior leadership team, proactively review departmental collaboration to achieve company goals and generate innovative ideas to distinguish the company from competitors.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS & PROFILE

  • A highly motivated and ambitious individual looking to deliver high-calibre strategic solutions for clients.

  • In-depth knowledge of sustainability strategy and communications.

  • Experience in managing startup businesses or brands.

  • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Experience in growing and managing client relationships and influencing at the executive level.

  • Understanding of healthy, sustainable diets in the food industry is a plus.
