A fast-growing consultancy, based in The Netherlands, is looking to appoint a Head of Climate to support its expansion. As Head of Climate, you will work closely with the Company's management team to deliver high-quality client projects, topics including carbon footprinting, reporting, CSRD, net-zero strategy, and product sustainability. You will also lead a talented team of sustainability consultants, as well as play a part in shaping the team's strategic direction and client propositions.
The consultancy has a European-wide client base so experience in other international markets is highly welcomed.
The company adopts a hybrid working policy, where you are expected to work two days a week in the office.
Your role will involve:
Leading complex climate projects for a range of clients, covering both industry and financial services sectors.
Influencing and presenting to a range of senior stakeholders, including C-Suite audiences.
Account management of key clients, nurturing and creating strong relationships and long-term partnerships.
There are no sales targets or expectations for the job holder to generate new business leads in this role, although you will be supporting new business pitches and converting client leads.
You will be managing a team of highly talented sustainability consultants, actively supporting project delivery, and mentoring more junior members of the team.
Skills you would be leveraging in this role:
You will have strong experience in leading climate projects, it would be particularly relevant if you have experience leading projects in carbon footprinting, reporting, CSRD, net-zero strategy, and product sustainability.
Consultancy experience would be highly welcomed, although in-house candidates who enjoy working on a portfolio of projects would also be considered.
Direct line management/ team management experience is important as you will be leading a team.
You should be a confident project manager as you will be leading a portfolio of projects with the team.
Fluency in another European language other than English would be welcomed, although it's not a requirement for the role.
If you are currently looking for a new challenge, and are excited by the prospects of working with a growing organisation, alongside a team of sustainability specialists, then look no further.
