Broman Group Oy is a dynamic and expanding Finnish family-owned company specialising in hardline products - automotive and motorcycle spare parts, accessories, tools and other household and leisure products. Established in 1965, the company has grown to become a market leader in its field across Northern Europe, with successful expansions into Estonia and Sweden. With their purchasing office in Hong Kong, they are looking for an ambitious individual to strengthen their sustainability offering across the group. This person will lead on engagement with suppliers and program management of ethical and sustainable supply chain programs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and manage sustainability and ethical programs and initiatives
Conduct research and analysis of ESG trends, regulations and standards, and make recommendations to senior management
Monitor and report on key sustainability performance indicators
Liaise with suppliers and head office in Finland to ensure the successful execution of sustainability programs
Plan and manage ESG projects in collaboration with the Sourcing Director (HK) and the Head Office (Finland)
Visit suppliers in the region to monitor and evaluate ESG status and progress
Supporting teams in selecting new potential suppliers and the onboarding processes
Lead on the code of conduct development and refinement as well as BSCI compliance

Key Requirements
Fluency in Mandarin and English
Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience within sustainability
Proven track record of working with multiple suppliers on sustainable and ethical supply chain programs
Experience working with Amfori BSCI and knowledge about EU product directives such as CBAM, EUDR, CSRD, CSDDD, etc.
Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Excellent planning skills, with ability to prioritise and achieve deadlines
