They are seeking a Portfolio Management Associate - Renewable Energy, this role sits within the Portfolio Management team, which operates as part of the Renewable Energy team, which has a remarkable track record in creating strategic partnerships with European renewable energy developers. 

 

As an Associate, your role will be support the managing of fund models, analysing portfolio performance, and support capital allocation, risk management, and exit decisions. Collaborating with deal teams, and drive process improvements while being supported two analysts. 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage fund performance modelling while preparing fund-level analysis on a quarterly basis communicating key findings, including portfolio company KPI benchmarking.

  • Co-ordinate additional fund modelling sensitivities with external providers to run portfolio simulations based on market fluctuations

  • Oversee and support the preparation and review of portfolio materials, quarterly LP reports, valuations, and other relevant analyses.

  • Supervise information flow and metrics from investee companies to the fund’s portfolio management system and reports while working closely with the broader Renewable Energy team.

  • Support other Portfolio Management functions, including detailed fund analysis for the Investment Committee, carried interest modelling, and handling LP-related queries.

 

 

You'll bring

  • University degree in finance, economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred). 

  • 4–7 years of experience in portfolio analytics, asset management, or financial operations within an investment, private markets, consultancy, or infrastructure environment.

  • Sound knowledge of private equity fund structures, while bringing advance modelling skills in Excel and experience across preparation of presentations while effectively communicating quantitively analysis 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills essential for thriving in a lean, fast-paced team. The role requires establishing trust and credibility across deal teams, business leaders, and support functions to drive collaboration and impact. 

  • Proficient in BI tools such as Power BI, and familiarity with valuation methodologies such as CAPM principles and multiples would be advantageous. 

  • Good understanding of the energy/infrastructure sector, including both technical and commercial value drivers is a plus.  

  • Fluent in spoken and written French and English. Another European language is a plus.

They are seeking a Portfolio Management Analyst - Renewable Energy, this role will sit within the Portfolio Management team, which operates as part of the Renewable Energy team, which has a remarkable track record in creating strategic partnerships with European renewable energy developers.

 

As an Analyst, you will be exposed to the energy sector of several EU countries and various renewable energy technologies, while supporting the broader team to improve portfolio processes and investment information flow.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Supporting fund reporting and investor materials by gathering financial and non-financial data, conducting quantitative analysis and effectively presenting insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in portfolio management initiatives, including portfolio management system implementation and data processes, by preparing templates and defining portfolio companies KPI’s.
  • Assist the broader team in managing fund cash flows, coordinating capital calls and distributions across middle office and deal teams, while supporting with LP updates and ad-hoc requests.
  • Contribute to fundraising efforts through portfolio data collection, due diligence material preparation, presentations and investors inquiries.

 

 

You'll bring

  • University degree in finance, economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
  • Previous experience across private equity, corporate finance, financial audit or portfolio management environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate quantitative analysis effectively, both written and orally.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting and company financial analysis
  • Strong team player with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive results.
  • Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, or financial research database is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with financial modelling and valuation concepts such as CAPM, DCF, IRR multiples would be advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of fund mechanisms such as capital calls, distributions, cash waterfalls is beneficial.

This role will make a valuable contribution to help ensure high levels of client engagement and support the firm's fundraising efforts across the range of the firm’s fund strategies for existing LPs and prospective investors across a range of international geographies.

Responsibilities

Marketing and presentations 

  • Support with planning and execution of fundraises including market analysis, preparation of fund marketing materials (data room, DDQ, pitch deck etc), and ongoing support during fundraises to respond to RfPs, due diligence requests etc.
  • Engage with the different teams such as investment, legal, finance, portfolio management, to prepare responses to investor enquiries.  

 

Sales Monitoring 

  • Coordinate, track and analyse outreach, meeting activities, roadshows, investor feedback, engagement metrics, and market trends to refine fundraising strategies.
  • Ensure key IR tools, such as the LP portal, CRM and VDR, are all used to optimal efficiency and the production of regular dashboard outputs.

 

Management of interns

  • Oversight and workflow management for 1-2 interns helping with the delivery of client management function

 

Desired experience and competencies

  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in a similar investor relations or marketing function
  • Experience and understanding of the financial concepts within private equity. 
  • Strong organisational, project management and analytical skills.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency across Excel, PowerPoint, and Word with ability to creatively solve for presentation of data and key messages across these mediums.
  • Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related business field.
  • Fluency in French and English.
