Driving positive change
At Acre, we believe that driving positive change goes beyond recruitment. The Acre Foundation is our charitable arm, supporting a range of good causes through fundraising, volunteering, and pro-bono work. Since its launch in 2012, the Foundation has raised over £121,000 and contributed more than 3,249 hours of volunteer work — all driven by our passionate team, with support from our clients, suppliers, and board of directors.
Our longstanding charity partner, Ocean Generation (formerly Plastic Oceans UK), has been at the heart of our impact efforts since 2017. We provide pro-bono recruitment support and engage in fundraising to empower their mission of tackling ocean threats through science and storytelling. Ocean Generation’s goal is to restore a healthy relationship between humanity and the ocean, recognising that this generation has the power to reverse the damage caused by human activity.
In addition to the work of the Acre Foundation, we encourage our employees to give back by providing dedicated time during the workweek to support causes that matter to them. Our commitment to making a difference extends beyond the workplace - it’s part of our DNA, driving meaningful impact in both business and the wider world.
