Are you an engineering professional with strong experience in transmission planning and/or power systems studies?
Acre is partnered with a powerhouse organization responsible for delivering over 30 million Americans their power every day, who are looking to found a new group centered around expansion planning and interregional collaboration with neighboring utilities.
In this team, you will lead key technical activities including modeling, analysis, and reliability assessments to ensure the client is positioning its transmission planning to ensure customers' long-term needs are being prioritized.
The group is hiring a number of key positions from more entry-level experience through to principal (with mentorship and leadership responsibility). This new division will play a pivotal role in shaping the client's future transmission planning, risk mitigation, and transmission system performance.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar field
2-10 Years of power systems planning, transmission planning, or power system operations experience
Mandatory experience with PSS/E and MUST
Experience with other power system software such as TARA or TSAT preferred, but not mandatory
Basic understanding of NERC & FERC regulatory requirements
Ability to comprehend and identify solutions to key business scenarios
