Team Build - New Engineering Division for Top RTO/ISO

Are you an engineering professional with strong experience in transmission planning and/or power systems studies?

Acre is partnered with a powerhouse organization responsible for delivering over 30 million Americans their power every day, who are looking to found a new group centered around expansion planning and interregional collaboration with neighboring utilities.

​

In this team, you will lead key technical activities including modeling, analysis, and reliability assessments to ensure the client is positioning its transmission planning to ensure customers' long-term needs are being prioritized.

​

The group is hiring a number of key positions from more entry-level experience through to principal (with mentorship and leadership responsibility). This new division will play a pivotal role in shaping the client's future transmission planning, risk mitigation, and transmission system performance.

​

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar field

• 2-10 Years of power systems planning, transmission planning, or power system operations experience

• Mandatory experience with PSS/E and MUST

• Experience with other power system software such as TARA or TSAT preferred, but not mandatory

• Basic understanding of NERC & FERC regulatory requirements

• Ability to comprehend and identify solutions to key business scenarios
