The Role

As a Project Development Associate, you will support the Project Development team in identifying new opportunities, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving project success. This role is well suited for someone with an operational background who wants to transition into an experienced Project Development role over time, working with some of the most successful Project Developers in the Netherlands to learn and grow in to the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project sourcing and development - Support project identification, feasibility assessments, and initial development activities.

  • Stakeholder engagement - Assist in building relationships with municipalities, landowners, and industry partners.

  • Project development support - Work closely with senior developers to advance projects through various stages.

  • Reporting and analysis - Maintain project data, prepare reports, and track market trends.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience, preferably in project development or a related field.

  • Project or business development background within energy, infrastructure, or real estate.

  • Operational mindset with the ability to work independently.

  • Enough experience to work autonomously but still open to training and development.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ambition to grow into a full cycle Project Developer role.

  • Preferably someone who is more concentrated in the office rather than field-based.
