Senior Project Manager - Biomethane, Hydrogen, Green Gases

An established service company in the environmental solutions sector is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its team. They specialize in supporting clients in the production of "Green Gases," encompassing biomethane, bio-LNG, bio-CNG, hydrogen, CO2, and P2X - offering comprehensive services from consultation and development to construction, operation, and marketing of the produced gases. With a strong presence in the biomethane market and service sector, particularly with their "Biogas Pools for municipal utilities," they are now looking to grow their team further.

As an innovative service company in the Renewable Energy sector, they support their customers in the production of "Green Gases," namely biomethane, bio-LNG, hydrogen, and CO2 - from development through construction to operation. They aim to expand their market position with you. In this role, you can contribute your knowledge independently and continue to develop personally.

Your tasks:

• Elaboration of concepts for the production of Green Gases, including associated components

• Preparation of business plans and profitability calculations

• Negotiations with suppliers, experts, project partners, and customers

• Supervision of planning and approval procedures (e.g., according to BImSchG)

• Project management in the segments of biomethane, bio-LNG and -CNG, H2, and CO2 plants

• Construction planning, construction supervision, monitoring, and evaluation of performance tests

• Preparation of protocols, result reports, and project settlement

• Support in project acquisition, consultation, and technical-economic evaluation

Your profile:

• Successful completion of an engineering degree in environmental, energy, or process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project implementation

• Experience in the planning and design of renewable energy generation facilities; knowledge in the field of biogas plants is advantageous

• Excellent analytical skills, technical understanding, and business-oriented thinking

• Good IT and English language skills (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint) and proficient in both German and English

• Convincing communication skills and a confident demeanour

• Willingness to travel
