Acre has been engaged by a premier UK distributor of renewable energy, to recruit a Sales Manager.

Our client have developed an innovative model to act on the interface of installers, surveyors, and established high profile suppliers. This process creates a seamless renewables offering for domestic home owners.

Having recently received a major investment and launched their new system, this Energy provider is set to revolutionise the way homeowners access renewable energy solutions. Their initial focus is air and ground source heat pumps, biomass boilers and solar thermal collectors. Their vision is to become synonymous with domestic renewable energy installations.

The Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for taking the customer from their initial inbound enquires, through to product selection and final sale, acting as a key point of external contact through installation. As a result it is critical that a consultative approach is taken to this role.

Additional key responsibilities will involve:

  • Manage end-to-end sales process; site surveys, negotiating contracts, closing deals

  • Fielding inbound customer enquiries, assessing customers' requirements and booking initial site surveys

  • Processing site surveys, identifying suitable renewable energy solutions, advising customers of suitable options and developing proposals

  • Closing sales with customers, engaging the supplier and installer to proceed and acting as a key point of contact

  • Maintaining and further developing relationships with existing customers identifying potential opportunities for further sales

Key requirements:

  • Experience driving sales in the Renewable Energy sector - identifying opportunities, engaging clients and meeting sales targets

  • Understanding of the domestic renewables, solar, battery storage, or electrical engineering space with the ability to advise customers remotely on solutions

  • Familiarity with designing and selling PV and battery storage systems.

  • Demonstrated sales or commercial experience and success within a consultative sales environment

  • Excellent customer relationship skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships

  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience engaging a range of stakeholders

  • This individual would ideally be based in South East England (London, Surrey, Essex)
