Investment Associate - Natural Capital

We have partnered with a specialist asset manager who is looking for an investment associate to join their Forestry team in either the Oxford or Edinburgh office on a hybrid basis.

This role involves working with both the acquisitions team and investment managers on the asset management and analysis of UK/global investments with a focus on commercial and carbon forestry assets. This investment associate will have a strong focus on natural capital development and carbon modelling, covering both public and private markets.

Responsibilities:

• Support the forestry investments team through comprehensive research and analysis of existing and potential investments

• Prepare and update carbon models and projections

• Deliver on natural capital projects across the company

​

Experience:

• 1-3 years experience in sustainability, carbon modelling experience is preferred.

• Experience in asset management, private equity or a consultancy is required

• Educational or professional background in environmental economics, sustainable development or carbon markets
