About the Role
As an Executive Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of Earthbanc's large-scale projects, combining geospatial planning expertise with commercial acumen. The role involves overseeing environmental impact assessments, regulatory approvals, and project planning across large-scale development initiatives.
Based in Stockholm, this is a good opportunity for a candidate with a background in commercial real estate development, large consulting/ engineering firms, or forestry/ agribusiness to make a career move into the dynamic ecosystem restoration and carbon projects industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project planning, incorporating geospatial analysis and cost forecasting.
Manage site feasibility assessments, environmental impact studies, and approval strategies.
Develop technical reports, proposals, and communication materials to drive business outcomes.
Oversee cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Engage with stakeholders and present analytical insights to build strong relationships.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and maintain technical excellence in deliverables.
Drive innovation in geospatial analysis and methodologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We're looking for a candidate with:
A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience in environmental planning, forestry, consulting, or real estate development.
Advanced GIS expertise (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) applied to forestry, land management, or similar fields.
Proven experience managing large-scale projects and delivering financial forecasting.
Strong knowledge of environmental and planning legislation and regulatory compliance.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, technical writing, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
A passion for sustainability and driving innovative solutions in complex environments.
