Acre has partnered with a mid-size start-up in the rapidly growing Carbon Repurposing/Utilization industry that has created a desperately needed and completely unique process that can repurpose carbon into high-value chemicals for industrial applications with ZERO emissions.
They have won numerous awards for their solutions and have been awarded illustrious industrial and federal contracts. As a result, additional funding is imminent, and they are looking for their next world-class leadership hire.
They are looking for a Director of Operations to come in and lead production operations of existing pilot plants and factories.
Reporting to the C-suite, this person will be responsible for:
Leading existing production operations and developing strategic growth plans for existing and future facilities
Providing expert knowledge and guidance to leadership on local and state regulations associated with hazardous chemical manufacturing
Leading and growing a team of pilot plant engineers, EHS, procurement and operators
Implementing policies and driving safety initiatives across all plants to ensure pristine operations
Overseeing procurement, negotiating with suppliers, optimizing product transportation strategies, etc.
You'd bring to the table:
B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or similar with an MBA and 15-25+ years' of experience in chemical manufacturing operations (chemical production experience is required)
Experience in facilities management, plant design, plant operations, regulatory compliance, maintenance management, etc.
An inarguable ability and motivation to lead large teams. 10-15+ years experience in leadership is required
Experience developing and rolling out operational, effectiveness, and safety programs in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment
