Role Overview:

Native seeks a dynamic Director of Asset Management to lead their impact delivery through high-quality carbon project performance. This role involves overseeing asset management activities, mentoring teams, and ensuring project success from design to verification. You will manage a growing team and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure Native remains a leader in climate action.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead carbon asset development and documentation for new projects.

  • Oversee project validation and verification with third-party verifiers.

  • Report on project portfolio delivery, budget, and progress.

  • Manage a team focused on project monitoring, reporting, and delivery.

  • Ensure streamlined data gathering, analysis, and report production.

  • Coordinate with project partners on implementation and monitoring.

  • Manage relationships with registries, consultants, and auditors.

  • Collaborate with the Market Strategy & Engagement team.

Qualifications:

  • Master's in Policy or Environmental Science, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years in project and program registration with third-party standards.

  • Proficiency in managing multiple high-quality projects.

  • Deep knowledge of Verra's VCS and US greenhouse gas compliance markets.

  • Experience in project operations, budgets, and milestone delivery.

  • Strong stakeholder influence and emotional intelligence.

  • Openness to learning and skill development.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with project or inventory management software.

  • Salesforce proficiency.

  • Experience with Carbon Standards or verification bodies.
