Acre has partnered with a very well-capitalized and growing business poised to position themselves as a frontrunner in the North American Renewable Natural Gas market. They are looking to hire a leader to oversee the safe and efficient operation of one of the largest facilities in North America converting food waste into renewable natural gas and other renewable products such as fertilizer.
This role will ultimately be responsible for all day-to-day management of the site, including management of company and O&M personnel. The Company values the importance of including Operations Site Leadership in the Construction and Commissioning process, and this person will join the team supporting the final stages of construction, the installation and commissioning of equipment, and gaining valuable knowledge on the detailed operating conditions.
Upon successful plant commissioning, the Site Leader will take over all responsibilities tied to site operations including operations, maintenance, logistics, EHS, and personnel management. This will require the Site Leader to develop systems and processes to effectively lead all internal and O&M personnel, managing the logistics relating to feedstock and hauling partners inside the fenceline, and ensuring that all parties operating on the site are held to an incredibly high standard resulting in safe, reliable, efficient, and successful operation.
This role is expected to have 25 or more direct and indirect reports and will report into the EVP of Operations.

Who You Are
15+ Years of proven operations/site leadership.
Experience overseeing day-to-day operations, logistics, EHS, maintenance, personnel management, and managing 3rd parties such as O&M contractors.
Experience managing complex logistics involving feedstock, composting and/or hauling partners.
Experience with Anaerobic Digesters is highly preferred.
Proven experience and success with complex manufacturing, batch and or continuous chemical processing, waste management, wastewater treatment or comparable experience is required.
Degree qualified in Engineering or comparable field.
Location & Travel
This site/role is in Yaphank, NY on Long Island. It is required for this person to reside full-time within roughly an hour driving distance of the site.
10-15% travel (to Corporate HQ in Delaware, Trade Shows, Trainings)
Compensation
180k-200k Base Salary
20% Bonus
