Acre is supporting a leading importer and processor of premium food products.

With an emphasis on supply chain integrity, sustainable sourcing, and delivering high-quality products, they import a wide range of foods globally. Committed to sustainability, they work towards minimising environmental impact and promoting responsible sourcing practices, often collaborating with various industry bodies and NGOs. Additionally, the company focuses on innovation in product development and packaging to meet evolving consumer trends.

In line with growth plans, they are looking for a dedicated sustainability executive to support the CSR Director and the wider team in implementing the company's CSR program, encompassing social, sustainable, and environmental elements. The role involves consulting with stakeholders, benchmarking CSR performance, and reporting on CSR activities to uphold their reputation for responsible practices.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating and executing the company's CSR strategy, ensuring alignment with social, environmental, and sustainability goals.

  • Consulting with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize environmental and social issues and align on key priorities.

  • Conducting thorough analysis and reporting of CSR performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

You will already have:

  • An undergraduate degree in environmental science/relevant field with a deep passion for ethical and sustainable issues and experience in CSR topics relevant to the role

  • Committed to enhancing consumer experience through sustainable practices.

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional partnerships and drive change through collective efforts.

This role is based in either Surrey or the North East of England.
