Our client, a leading private equity firm with over 20 years of experience, manages €4.2 billion invested in companies across Europe and the United States. With a strong belief in sustainability as a key driver for long-term value creation, they have been enhancing their commitment to sustainability for over a decade.

Based in Paris, you will report to the Sustainability Manager within the ESG Strategy and Development division, responsible for developing and promoting financial products that integrate sustainability throughout the investment cycle, managing external requests from investors, regulators, and public authorities, ensuring compliance with sustainable finance regulations, and supporting investment teams and the portfolio companies in incorporating ESG considerations.

This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with various departments, build your skills, and be at the heart of ESG issues central to the company's strategy.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Create, collect, and promote ESG performance metrics for portfolio companies

  • Conduct market research on sustainable finance, monitor trends, and stay updated on regulatory developments

  • Respond to ESG-related requests and questionnaires from investors

  • Maintain ESG tools and databases

  • Organise in-house ESG training and events

  • Support the team in all activities related to the Foundation

  • Perform ESG studies as part of due diligence and company support

Your Profile:

  • 1-3 years of experience in sustainability within consulting, corporate, or financial services.

  • Higher education degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field.Specialization in sustainable finance is a plus.

  • Strong desire to learn and develop knowledge in sustainable and responsible investment markets.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint and Excel/VBA), with a focus on data analysis.

  • Fluent proficiency in French and English.

  • Ability to multitask and switch between different subjects daily.
