Acre is working with a highly regarded asset manager, who is looking for a senior analyst to join their team in London/Geneva. Your responsibilities would include supporting a range of investment teams and asset classes to provide a macro-economic perspective on thematic trends in efforts to support on investment decisions.
Key responsibilities:
Work with investment analysts and fund managers to draw conclusions on the nature and shape of transitions across different sectors from an economic perspective.
Support fundamental research analysts to assess investment opportunities, looking at companies' alignment to transition roadmaps.
Help to understand and identify economic inflection points of technological and business model shifts.
Engage with investment teams, investee companies and research teams to define and integrate convictions.
Experience:
At least five years of experience, with a background in macroeconomics, market research or environmental science.
Some exposure to the finance/investment industry.
Experience across energy, natural capital, food systems, biodiversity or circular economy themes.
