Vice President / Director of Business Development

Acre has been retained by an innovator in industrial Carbon Capture solutions who is leading the way in developing a groundbreaking Carbon Capture technology with the potential to transform the global economy by significantly reducing carbon emissions. This newly created role, reporting directly to the C-suite will be positioned at either Director or Vice President level depending on the successful candidate's level of experience.

As the global head of business development, you will be responsible for establishing the commercial strategy of the group whilst also leading direct sales, establishing the first point of contact with predominantly industrial sector clients - mining, wastewater management, chemical production, oil & gas etc.

​

Although commercial in nature this is a highly technical role that will require a deep level of experience in existing energy & carbon removal technologies such that you will be able to explain the economic benefits and advantages of deploying this technology compared to competitive solutions already on the market.

Key Success Criteria:

• Deep knowledge of existing clean technologies, ideally solutions orientated towards the industrial sector or alternatively transmission/utility-scale power.

• Significant demonstrable business development & sales experience, sufficient to establish a global go-to-market strategy with minimal support.

• Ideally, you will also have experience in a product development/project execution role.

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree ideally in STEM - MSc and/or MBA is preferred.

• Passion and drive to help scale an early-stage organization across multiple continents.
