Are you an experienced commercial or transmission analyst with a desire for serious energy impact?
Acre is working with one of the largest O&G SuperMajors on the planet in growing and building their Low Carbon Analytics group. Having visibility across the businesses entire portfolio, this role will drive a targeted low carbon capacity of 50GW by 2030.
Reporting to the Head of Transmission Analytics, this role will spearhead key nodal analytics modeling and forecasting for a variety of diverse technologies, including Green Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, Solar, Offshore Wind, Clean Fuels, and Battery Storage.
Responsibilities:
Identify and review future transmission development and opportunities that can influence the company's low-carbon growth plan
Develop transmission expansion views across various markets as input into long-term fundamental models
Lead and build the company's Nodal Analytics capability for the Americas
Mandatory Experience:
5+ Years of transmission or commercial analytics experience, with a focus on long-term fundamental modeling
5+ Years experience with one or more utility-scale low-carbon technologies
Deep knowledge of one or more following softwares: PLEXOS, PROMOD, UPLAN
An interest in being part of a well-financed startup group and building one of the largest and most diverse technology portfolios on the planet
This role can be based in Houston, Washington, D.C, and potentially other locations. It also offers a competitive base salary, annual cash bonus, equity, double pension, and bonus buyout from the current employer.
