Acre has partnered with a global energy giant to recruit a Project Director who can help transition legacy energy assets across North America through the deployment of CCUS technologies. Our client operates hundreds of assets around the world and recently entered a multi-billion-dollar deal with one of the world's largest private equity firms to transition their portfolio to low-carbon and renewable technologies.
Reporting to the global project executive in Europe, the Project Director will establish a domestic projects team and will be responsible for assessing and selecting domestic EPC partners. The Project Director will lead technology selection internally as well as the design, construction & commissioning of new CCUS deployments across North America.
Key Success Criteria:
Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering. An advanced level technical qualification would be preferred.
Minimum 10 years' experience in project development, project scoping and project evaluation background in CCUS, Oil & Gas, petrochemical industries or similar energy solutions. Ideally underpinned by specific project management qualifications.
Strong understanding of the techno-economic landscape for CCUS and comparable/competing technologies, sufficient enough to be a regional technical lead for these solutions.
Strong fluency in English, with additional languages being a plus.
