The Copper Mark is working with companies throughout the copper value chain to enable them to meet the demands for responsible production practices, supporting sustainable development and mitigating environmental degradation to the benefit of local communities, customers, and consumers.
Participation in the Copper Mark Assurance Framework is expected to grow significantly in the second phase of operation, as eligibility expands to the full copper value chain as well as additional metals. The purpose of this role is to support the day-to-day operations of the Assurance Framework through that growth while maintaining credibility, quality, and timeliness.

Proven ability to implement and manage processes effectively.
Understanding of voluntary sustainability schemes and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance.
Knowledge of ESG issues in minerals and metals supply chains.
The position is based remotely and reports to The Copper Mark Executive Director. The position requires significant time zone overlap with Europe, and good overlap with North and Latin America.
This is a great opportunity to play a key role in supporting Copper Mark participants to identify and make on-the-ground changes to their operations. Covering all major environmental, social and governance issues, you can support efforts to ensure participants prevent, mitigate and remedy adverse impacts on people and the environment and contribute positively to the communities in which they operate.
