Reports To: Senior Sustainability & ESG Manager
Acre is working with a leading international law firm to identify a Sustainability & ESG Manager to drive its sustainability strategy and ESG reporting. This is an opportunity to play a key role in embedding sustainability across a highly respected global organisation, at a time when ESG compliance and reporting are more critical than ever.
As regulatory expectations shift from voluntary to mandatory reporting, the firm is seeking a skilled sustainability professional who can ensure compliance with evolving frameworks, enhance ESG performance, and provide strategic insights based on sustainability data. The role will focus on reporting, stakeholder engagement, and operational sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead ESG Reporting & Compliance - Oversee the firm's annual sustainability report, ensuring alignment with CSRD, CSDDD, and other key reporting frameworks.
Data Management & Insights - Manage ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting, tracking progress against sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration - Engage with internal teams, including Finance, Risk, HR, Procurement, and Legal, to integrate sustainability into business operations.
Client & External Reporting - Respond to client ESG data requests and oversee submissions for frameworks such as CDP, UNGC, and EcoVadis.
Employee Engagement & Training - Lead Carbon Literacy training and ESG awareness programmes, ensuring sustainability is embedded within the firm's culture.
Operational Change Management - Support the implementation of ESG frameworks and sustainability initiatives across the firm's global offices.
Who We're Looking For
5+ years' experience in sustainability, ESG, or responsible business within a corporate or professional services environment.
Strong understanding of ESG regulations, frameworks, and standards, including CSRD, TCFD, GRI, and SBTi.
Experience in data management and analysis, with the ability to interpret complex ESG datasets and provide strategic recommendations.
Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, driving organisational change.
Track record of managing sustainability reporting processes, ideally in a multinational setting.
A proactive and strategic thinker with a strong attention to detail and a passion for driving sustainable change.
