Based in the US, but with an international client base, Evolution's technical expertise and relationship-oriented approach to the market is driving further growth. To solidify a foothold in Europe, Evolution is looking to appoint a seasoned professional to build and lead the future of theirgrowth into the UK.

The role: Managing Director - UK

Based in the UK, the MD UK will be responsible for building the UK business, both commercially and structurally. We're looking for a driven, ambitious, and entrepreneurial individual to step into the role.

Working closely together with the CEO, the EU Managing Director, and the rest of the leadership team, this role is pivotal in the international development of Evolution.

What you'll be doing

  • Build Evolution's client base in the UK.

  • Tailor Evolution's value proposition to the UK market, develop offering accordingly, and position the company as a trusted partner.

  • Working with the support and partnership of organizational leadership, develop the UK/European entity, including headcount planning and execution, team management, and growth strategy creation.

  • Co-create Evolution's global market approach and value proposition with the leadership team in the US.

Who you are and what you bring

  • Expertise in the energy consultancy field, e.g., energy commodities and brokerage/PPAs, energy transition.

  • Knowledge of UK sustainability standards, regulations and frameworks (EU knowledge a plus).

  • Strong experience in a consultancy environment, with a client-focused mindset.

  • A proven track record in building a client base, conducting successful business development in a highly competitive market and developing a sharp value proposition.

  • A strong and relevant network in the UK (EU a plus).

  • A proven business leader, able to build, structure, and lead a business unit, both from a strategy and people perspective.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a deep passion for making a positive impact through sustainability.
