Interim Sustainability Consultant

Acre is delighted to be working with a leading global organisation within the manufacturing sector. Due to some key projects that need to be executed over the next 3-6 months, they are looking for an experienced senior interim Sustainability professional to join them urgently. This contract is inside IR35 and can be worked remotely, with very occasional travel.

Whilst this position involves requires a high level of technical sustainability experience to deliver projects, including annual reports and emissions reporting, this role will also require someone with excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, working with the exec team to make progress on their sustainability objectives globally.

Key tasks involved in this contract include:

• Deliver glass waste and general waste reports on a monthly basis

• Support countries with developing plans to divert waste from landfill

• Deliver waste and emissions reporting for 2023, including assurance

• Work with the communications team on producing their sustainability report for 2023

​

This role will require someone with strong experience in creating sustainability annual reports, delivering emissions reporting and working on waste reports. Additionally, you will need to have proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders including presenting at C-level. This is an urgent position, ideally starting in November.
