Are you a seasoned portfolio manager passionate about energy transition?

Join a leading private equity firm with €6 billion in assets under management, dedicated to energy transition and innovation for over 20 years.

Location: Paris

As the Head of Portfolio Management, you will oversee the renewable energy investment portfolio, consisting of European renewable energy developers, IPPs, and several GW of operational renewable energy assets managed through specific investment mandates on behalf of institutional investors.

Your role will be pivotal in optimizing portfolio performance, maximizing returns, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Strategy and Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to enhance fund management and maximize returns. Conduct regular reviews to identify optimization opportunities.

  • Portfolio Company Management: Onboard new companies and assets, implement portfolio strategies, and supervise assets' financial and ESG aspects.

  • Risk Management and Compliance: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and implement risk management strategies.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, maintain relationships with investors and partners, and support the investment team during fundraising.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market developments in the European energy transition, attend events, and analyze energy markets.

  • Team Leadership: Provide strategic direction, mentor team members, and foster a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in finance, business administration, engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in portfolio management within the infrastructure or renewable energy sector.

  • A proven track record in managing large-scale renewable energy portfolios.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in implementing innovative IT solutions.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the renewable energy industry.

  • Fluency in French and other European languages is a plus.
