ImpactAssets is seeking an experienced people and process manager with private investment operations and portfolio accounting experience. It is ideal for an analytical, organized and flexible individual who enjoys the challenge of building the operational infrastructure to support a growing and complex set of operational investment requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Leadership:

You will collaborate with senior leaders to structure scalable, efficient operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement to enhance team performance and client experiences.

People Management:

Lead a team of 6-10, providing mentorship and guidance to support both individual growth and team success. You will balance workloads, foster an inclusive and collaborative environment, and track team Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

Operational Oversight and Client Experience:

Oversee improvements to Addepar, policies, and procedures that optimize investment operations. Manage essential activities, including portfolio accounting, trading, transaction processing, and data reconciliation, ensuring high standards of efficiency and accuracy.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment operations, with a focus on private investments and fund accounting.

  • Minimum of 4 years in a people management role, preferably in a virtual team environment.

  • Proficient in investment operations for private investments and familiar with fund accounting, donor-advised funds, and private investment structures.

  • Knowledge and enthusiasm for impact investing as a means to drive social and environmental change.

  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Skilled in Excel, investment systems (e.g., Addepar), and project management tools (e.g., Asana).
