The future of the carbon solutions space lies within new innovative solutions which are scalable, measurable, and completely verifiable.
Our client has developed a simple yet robust nature-based solution for carbon capture with vast positive implications for the agricultural industry past earning carbon credits.
They are increasing their sequestration capacity exponentially (25x growth in last 12 months) and are looking for a Carbon Verification Lead to spearhead efforts to enhance internal verifications processes, influence carbon standards' methodologies and ensure smooth partnerships with various 3rd party verifiers.
You'd get to:
Work with carbon standards as they build new carbon sequestration methodologies
Define internal verification processes and drive compliance excellency
Develop project design documents for standards bodies
Perform life cycles analyses for various projects
Continuously improve methodologies and verification practices
You will ideally have:
An advanced technical degree (MSc+) with 3-5+ years experience with either low carbon fuel standards (LCFS), life cycle analysis (LCA), voluntary carbon markets, carbon dioxide removal (CDR)
Experience in monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV), and experience working with standards, VVBs, and registries
Familiarity with state/federal agencies like CARB or DOE
Familiar with standards like ISO 14044 or 14064, VCS, biofuel carbon intensity scores, Gold Standard, etc.
