Job Description:

Mileway is seeking a driven and ambitious Sustainability Manager to join its team in Germany. As part of the company's young and dynamic team, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the rollout of Mileway's sustainability agenda across the German region. The Sustainability Manager will work closely with the central ESG team based in Amsterdam to develop and implement data systems that enable effective monitoring and reporting of performance.

Key Responsibilities:

The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining ESG data strategy and reporting processes

• Collecting and organizing data to support baseline definitions and country-level ESG performance data

• Overseeing and monitoring country-level ESG performance data and supporting the production of quarterly Performance Dashboards

• Supporting environmental sustainability activities, including energy efficiency and environmental strategy development

• Supporting the execution of certification programs, green leases, and property management ESG policies and programs

• Bringing awareness and seizing opportunities from available subsidy schemes and state initiatives to support decarbonisation in Germany

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Master's degree in a relevant subject such as sustainable business or accounting

• 3-5 years' minimum work experience within the real estate sector, preferably in reporting or ESG-related roles

• Excellent knowledge of applicable regulations (German and European environmental regulations, German ICPE & Seveso regulations, REACH regulations)

• Analytical skills, methodological skills, and ability to be the link between different stakeholders

• Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken

• Highly organized approach, competent with Excel, and ability to manage and process large quantities of data

• Hands-on self-starter who works confidently and independently
