Interim Environment and Sustainability Manager

Are you a seasoned senior environmental professional with a passion for driving positive change in the transport sector?

We are working with a highly regarded transport operating organisation that is looking for a dynamic individual to join their team as an Environmental and Sustainability Manager. You will be embedded in their ESG team focusing on driving positive change across all aspects of environmental and sustainability management.

During the contract, you will be getting involved in:

• Developing the environmental strategy

• Monitoring the compliance against environmental legal requirements

• Preparing the environmental reports and information for key internal and external forums

• Monitoring close call and incident trends that have an environmental impact

• Coordinating the organisation to meet contractual objectives and commitments and providing advice reflecting the company's values

You will be successful if you have:

• Ability to develop and monitor the environmental KPIs

• Experience developing and maintaining an environmental management system

• Good knowledge of environmental legislation within the built environment/ transport sector
