Global Health & Safety Director

Acre is partnering with Malvern Panalytical to hire an ambitious health & safety professional who can step into a Global Health & Safety Director role and manage a team of 6 across the UK, Canada, the US, the Netherlands and China.

​

You'll shape a dynamic health & safety function that engages the workforce and the senior leadership team in embedding a positive, proactive and inclusive culture change across the organisation and its different geographies.

​

In this role, you will be:

• Evolving forums to better foster H&S collaboration and knowledge sharing across regions and facilities, consistent with the Company values of; Own it, Aim High, and Be True

• Ensuring flawless compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and alignment with Malvern Panalytical

• Networking with external bodies to identify H&S best practices and supporting technological enablers with a view to driving continuous improvement

• Training and Influencing staff and stakeholders through training programs and presentations to buy into H&S initiatives

• Collating and reviewing accident reports, investigate accidents and make recommendations to prevent reoccurrence

You will bring:

• An infectious enthusiasm to drive safety culture towards an interdependent state

• A demonstrable H&S leadership track record and relevant managerial experience, with responsibilities spanning multiple countries

• Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire a diverse team across various locations

• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to influence without authority and foster effective collaboration between multiple stakeholders

• A good business acumen - be a strategic thinker, flexible, resilient, courageous, and able to maintain focus and determination whilst thriving under pressure
