ImpactAssets Capital Partners is now looking for a Director, Investments - Climate Focus to lead sourcing, evaluating, and executing global and domestic investments across asset classes with a focus on climate-related themes, such as clean energy transition, deep decarbonization, and climate justice.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Strategy & Execution:

Building on ImpactAssets Capital Partners' current investment work, you will develop and implement innovative climate-related investment strategies across asset classes and geographies. Your leadership will be pivotal in selecting, structuring, and executing impactful investments that meet the needs of ImpactAssets Capital Partners' clients.

Origination & Due Diligence:

You will take the lead in sourcing and analyzing potential investments, assessing suitability for ImpactAssets Capital Partners' diverse portfolio. This will involve hands-on due diligence and working with your team to prepare investment memoranda for internal stakeholders and client committees.

Team Leadership & Client Engagement:

Manage and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. You will also engage directly with clients, sharing the results of due diligence and investment strategies, and ensuring their goals align with ImpactAssets Capital Partners' impact-driven mission.

Monitoring & Reporting:

Oversee quarterly and annual investment monitoring processes, contributing to transparent reporting for client investment committees, while ensuring ongoing compliance with investment structures and impact goals.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years' directly relevant experience in impact investing, green bank, management consulting, private equity, private debt and/or investment banking with specific focus on climate-related impact themes.

  • Experience in deal execution, investment structuring (including private credit, equity, and project finance), and investment monitoring.

  • Advanced degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred.

  • Passion for leveraging investments as a force for social and environmental good.

  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
