RiceTec's new long-term business strategy continues to expand the company's leadership in breeding and producing hybrid, direct-seeded rice seed and technologies. The strategy builds on this leadership to provide additional digital services to farmers in key markets, especially India and the US, to support the transformation to more sustainable rice agriculture that creates more value for farmers, customers, and the planet.

The Carbon Program Manager will lead the development and management of RiceTec's global program to offer farmers in India the opportunity to capture carbon offsets and farmers in the US the opportunity to capture carbon offsets and insets provided by specific rice-growing practices. Emphasis for offsets and insets is on transforming agriculture in India to direct-seeded rice and, in India and the US, on large methane reductions involving specific water management practices. This role will be global, developing and managing the partnership ecosystem, collaborating with other departments to engage farmers, refining and managing the program model, and facilitating research opportunities in rice methane reduction.
