Acre is partnering with Carhartt WIP to identify a Senior Social Responsibility Manager to oversee and drive responsible sourcing and social auditing within its European and global supply network. What will you be doing in this role?
As the Social Responsibility Sr. Manager, you will be part of a global team leading Carhartt WIP's social responsibility program, focusing on upholding high labor standards across our global supplier base. You'll collaborate closely with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in compliance practices and social responsibility standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Responsibility Leadership: Oversee and manage the social responsibility process with suppliers across the EMEA region and other global sourcing areas in Asia.
Auditing and Reporting: Conduct thorough social assessment audits in factories across Turkey, Tunisia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and additional locations in Asia and Europe as required, and compile detailed assessment reports.
Supplier Engagement: Guide and train suppliers to address non-compliance issues through tailored support, fostering a culture of partnership, continuous improvement and ethical standards.
Documentation and Procedures: Develop documentation, procedures, and guidance materials to support and streamline Carhartt WIP's social responsibility processes.
Compliance and Record-Keeping: Manage and communicate supplier visit reports, Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), and other records and ensure closure of issues found.
Environmental Policy Support: Coordinate and contribute to the implementation of Carhartt WIP's environmental policies.
Corporate Responsibility Initiatives: Engage in additional corporate responsibility projects as needed to support broader Carhartt WIP sustainability goals.

Auditing Experience: Proven expertise in conducting comprehensive social responsibility audits across multiple countries.
Labor Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding of international labor standards and compliance programs.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in corporate responsibility, business management, sustainability, or a relevant field (or equivalent years of experience).
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English; additional language skills are an asset.
Location: Istanbul, Turkey.
Willingness to Travel: This role requires frequent travel (up to 50%), both domestically and internationally, to engage directly with suppliers.
