Senior Consultant

Acre is exclusively working with a leading strategic communication and ESG consultancy, who are hiring a Senior Consultant to join their growing sustainability team.

In this role, you will support the development of the sustainability practice, including but not limited to contribution to the development of the marketing plan, marketing activities, material developments, and roadshows.

In your role you will be:

• Supporting new business activities and pitch research and preparation, where a sustainability/ESG disclosure and reporting element has been identified as a potential client requirement.

• Contributing to developing a better understanding of sustainability and ESG, whilst supporting any relevant training and support on training activities related to Sustainability/ESG disclosure & reporting.

• Extending expertise and support to existing and future clients with the following ESG activities: − Stakeholder mapping/identification, conducting stakeholder consultations

• Working on materiality assessments across all sectors, including conducting materiality surveys and deriving materiality matrix calculations

To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience:

• Advising clients on the development of strategic framework for sustainability, UN SDG alignment, sustainability goal setting and identification of specific ESG-KPIs

• Carrying out of ESG Audits, including advising on content for drafting of new ESG policies

• Sustainability/ESG Reporting gap analysis

• Implementing and advising on sustainability reporting framework: GRI (Indexation/GRI)

• Alignment to Sustainability Reporting Framework: TCFD − Sustainability Reporting Structure Development/ Content Plan / ESG data gathering process (with content drafting to be carried out by different team members)

• Expert understanding of ESG Ratings framework and requirements, practical rating application and assisting/guiding clients on engagement/ survey reviews of ESG ratings agencies, advising clients on actions necessary to improve their existing ratings and rankings.
