Acre is partnering with a national organisation that is focused on manufacturing and delivering high-quality equipment across the UK. They are a company with customers in the automotive, marine, utilities and power sectors.

​

Headquartered in Dorset on the south coast, you will play a key role in making this organisation fully sustainable. In this newly created role, you will be the in-house driver of ESG activities and workstreams, driving collaboration and ensuring that the group-wide approach to sustainability is met.

In this role, you will be:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive ESG strategy within the supply chain and the wider business that is aligned with the company's values and business objectives

  • Keeping updated on global ESG trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure our strategy remains cutting-edge

  • Collaborating with internal departments to integrate ESG considerations into the decision-making processes

  • Collaborating with suppliers to identify opportunities for improvement in environmental and social practices

  • Conducting a comprehensive assessment of their Scope 3 emissions, identifying key sources and developing strategies for reduction whilst continuing to drive and embed Scope 1&2

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in ESG management, sustainability or a related field

  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools for ESG reporting​
