Acre is partnering with a national organisation that is focused on manufacturing and delivering high-quality equipment across the UK. They are a company with customers in the automotive, marine, utilities and power sectors.
Headquartered in Dorset on the south coast, you will play a key role in making this organisation fully sustainable. In this newly created role, you will be the in-house driver of ESG activities and workstreams, driving collaboration and ensuring that the group-wide approach to sustainability is met.
In this role, you will be:
Developing and implementing a comprehensive ESG strategy within the supply chain and the wider business that is aligned with the company's values and business objectives
Keeping updated on global ESG trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure our strategy remains cutting-edge
Collaborating with internal departments to integrate ESG considerations into the decision-making processes
Collaborating with suppliers to identify opportunities for improvement in environmental and social practices
Conducting a comprehensive assessment of their Scope 3 emissions, identifying key sources and developing strategies for reduction whilst continuing to drive and embed Scope 1&2
You will bring:
Proven experience in ESG management, sustainability or a related field
Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Familiarity with relevant software and tools for ESG reporting
