Fitwel is the world’s leading evidence-based certification system committed to building health for all®. The standard—originally created by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and U.S. General Services Administration—is maintained and validated by the global nonprofit Center for Active Design (CfAD).
To date, Fitwel’s global base of more than 5,400 users from 40+ countries has registered more than 2,100 projects representing approximately 675 million square feet and positively affecting the lives of 1.3 million people.
To help respond to growing demand and drive the implementation of Fitwel, CfAD recently announced the creation of a new business unit, Active Design Advisors, Inc., (Adai). Employees of Adai will be responsible for promoting and administering the Fitwel certification as it expands across key markets, as well as maintaining its best-in-class customer service.

Our next chapter will find us working closely with our client partners to scale Fitwel across entire portfolios of real estate assets. Our goal is not to give out plaques. As Adai's executive leader of sales and business development, you'll work strategically to initiate conversations and close deals within the unit's target built-environment customers. You’ll also continue to build out a team to cover CfAD's addressable market, to increase deal velocity, and to refine the business' value message for prospective partners.

As Sales & Business Development Manager, you'll evaluate and identify new revenue streams to grow the business. Your primary focus will be on new client development and account management with existing businesses, and you'll also oversee business development efforts to new target clients and managing existing business.
