Acre has been engaged by one of the world's leading property development and investment companies to identify a Sustainability Manager to join their industry-leading team.

In this high profile, London centric post, you will report into the Head of Sustainability and help to deliver their sustainability strategy. You will lead the priority area of "efficient use of natural resources", taking responsibility for carbon, energy, renewables and waste management and take the lead in the delivery of energy reduction for their London portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the face of their science-based carbon reduction strategy, gaining a strong external profile and credibility for their leading programme.
  • Drive sustainability improvements across the portfolio to ensure they meet their ambitious energy, carbon and waste reduction targets.
  • Engage with key internal stakeholders to improve their understanding and buy-in around sustainability, and the relevance of sustainability to their purpose and vision.
  • Promote the sustainability credentials of their assets with new and prospective customers, so that they can collaborate further to support energy and waste reduction efficiency measures.
  • Work with the Energy Reporting Analyst to ensure all forms of internal and external energy and carbon reporting are completed; including quarterly internal reporting against the corporate energy and carbon targets.
The successful candidate will be an experienced sustainability professional with a proven holistic understanding of sustainability in the built environment, which will include energy efficiency, carbon and waste.

The successful individual will also have:

  • The Ability to influence and motivate others, taking complex technical ideas and explaining them in an accessible and engaging.
  • Relevant master's degree in Sustainability.
  • Sustainability experience within the built environment.
  • Background in energy and carbon analysis, management and reporting.
