Work closely with multiple stakeholders including the regional Ethical Trade Team, industry associations, trade unions, NGOs and relevant government bodies to identify emerging issues, representing the business in national forums where required
Establish and manage relationships with suppliers, mapping supply chains across the region ensuring requirements and how to approach them are clearly communicated
Develop remediation programmes and manage projects to address social compliance issues and improve worker welfare
Schedule and conduct audits directly and via the management and curation of an appropriate 3rd party network
Report and communicate on any issues of concern, assist with crisis management and advise on evolving human rights issues within the region to appropriate stakeholders within the wider business
The successful candidate will be a self-starting team-player, be able to travel regionally and communicate effectively within a large, international multi-stakeholder organisation.
In addition, you will have:
Solid experience in social auditing e.g. SMETA, SA8000, ideally having worked within audit and remediation of agricultural commodity supply chains

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Ethical Trade Executive to contribute to a leading business whilst helping to guide factories and suppliers towards creating meaningful solutions that improve the lives of those working within the world's consumer goods supply chains.
