Acre are please to be working on newly created Responsible Investment Analyst role, working in the expanding Responsible Investment team at one of the world's leading asset managers. The firm has been a market leader within sustainable finance for some time and the role will feed into policy development, product development, front office, stewardship and client relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and articulation of responsible investment policy, external advocacy positions and consultation response across diverse topics, including but not limited to: investment industry, governance, climate change, employee issues and diversity
  • Support the marketing, rfp and client reporting teams with the articulation of strategy, approach and delivery of strategic and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and engagement integration across several funds
  • Carry out deep dive research into a policy / advocacy topic or specific investment such as a company to inform the approach taken in advocacy or in a company / investment interaction. The latter will likely include financial, strategic and ESG risks and opportunities analyses.
  • Assist the enhancement and promotion of existing products and the development of new products by embedding relevant responsibility approaches, and working with colleagues in the design and delivery of ESG and engagement tools
  • Support the delivery of specific corporate citizenship initiatives
Applicants should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have a demonstrable understanding of corporate affairs. In addition, experience in ESG issues and themes (e.g. human rights, diversity, climate change) is an advantage. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline (ACCA, MBA, CFA or similar) is an advantage.

A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related or relevant field is preferred. This could be in corporate governance, policy development, fund management, corporate law or strategy consulting.
