Join a dynamic team as an Interim Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) advisor on an initial 3-month basis, where you'll lead critical health, safety, and environmental initiatives across multiple sites. This role offers the chance to shape policies, drive compliance, and create a culture that prioritises employee safety while ensuring environmental excellence.
Acre's client is a global leader in the cultivation, sourcing, ripening, processing, and marketing of premium-quality fresh produce. Widely known for their expertise and innovation in the fresh produce industry, from farming and supply chain management to providing ready-to-eat, ripened, and processed products.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure compliance and promote a strong safety culture
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site inspections to identify hazards and implement mitigation strategies
Manage environmental compliance, including waste disposal, recycling, pollution control, and ISO 50001 implementation
Deliver engaging training sessions, updates, and workshops to embed safety awareness across all teams
Ensure equipment safety, contractor compliance, and regulatory adherence while reporting key SHE performance metrics to senior leadership
What You'll Bring:
Extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and ISO standards (45001, 14001, 50001)
Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Proven ability to lead audits, develop training programs, and foster a proactive safety culture
NEBOSH Environmental Management Certification
Experience with Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations
