We're looking for an Interim ESG Data Management Consultant to join our client's sustainability team.

Key responsibilities:
Assess current methods for collecting and reporting GHG emissions, energy usage, and resource consumption
Recommend improvements for seamless data collection, ensuring transparency and alignment with Science Based Targets (SBT) and other industry standards
Lead the development of internal ESG data management processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders
Act as a bridge across departments, working with finance, accountancy, and operations to ensure cohesive data management
Align GHG inventory reviews with corporate objectives and Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) requirements, and explore innovative pathways for decarbonisation
Enhance data integration methods, supporting effective reporting on Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.
Create informative, engaging reports for asset-level and portfolio-wide data for internal use and external stakeholders, including lenders and investors.
Present ESG metrics and performance insights, offering recommendations for improvement and areas for efficiency gains.
Ideal Background:
Experience with GHG protocols, sustainability reporting frameworks, and decarbonisation methodologies
Ability to distil complex data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders
Real estate, property, or construction experience preferred, with familiarity with MEP and building management systems as a plus
