Acre is partnering with an industry-leading global manufacturing organisation based in South West England to hire a Head of Group Sustainability Reporting. This role will act as a link between the sustainability and finance teams, so the ability to understand both subject matters will be crucial.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who either has a strong background in ESG reporting who can understand reporting and finance and know how to talk the language, or someone with a finance background who has some experience in non-financial reporting/ESG Reporting.

You will be:

  • Responsible for ensuring non-financial regulatory reporting compliance, including overseeing 3rd party assurance of sustainability disclosures

  • Supporting the improvement of internal financial planning and reporting for sustainability investments and models the financial impacts of sustainability risks and opportunities

  • Managing and overseeing the 3rd party audit of relevant non-financial disclosures

  • Preparing and delivering updates on regulatory reporting compliance and developments to the Audit Committee of the Board

  • Overseeing regulatory reporting and non-financial disclosures, both current and future, including but not limited to the annual Sustainability Report and CSRD Report

  • Staying abreast of all non-financial regulatory reporting requirements and ensuring systems, processes and controls are in place to deliver compliant reporting

You will have experience with:

  • Corporate sustainability reporting, frameworks and best practice

  • International regulatory reporting standards and frameworks, such as TCFD, CSRD, EU Taxonomy, SASB, CDP, SBTi

  • Modelling the financial impacts of sustainability (largely climate-related) risks and opportunities, as well as the impact of investments on sustainability targets

  • Data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving, including the ability to understand data and track progress against targets

  • Leadership and management, with the ability to make sound business decisions, inspire, lead, motivate and develop a team
