We are currently seeking a talented and EU experienced waste policy senior consultant. Our client is a leading sustainability consultancy who combines climate change, chemical risk and energy efficiency expertise with a strong economics offering.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading and writing client bids Managing and delivering technical waste policy projects Contributing waste policy expertise to a growing team Representing the organisation as an expert in the EU waste policy field
The successful candidate will have:
An excellent working understanding of EU waste policy issues Experience in various waste streams including household waste, mineral and mining waste, food waste, commercial and construction waste Knowledge of policy design and economic instruments used for implementing EU waste policy objectives International waste policy expertise beyond Europe and product policy experience would be a distinct advantage An established reputation with the EU Commission and businesses in Europe

Acre has been engaged by a well known and growing organisation in the field of sustainability, at the heart of the debate on resource efficiency. It works to deliver programmes that support businesses, organisations and individuals to achieve environmental and economic benefits. This newly created role will have the responsibility of managing information and customer data management, as well as developing an information management strategy.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate to set and deliver information strategy within an evidenced-based organisation.
Responsibilities will include: Establishing and maintaining systems for managing information or evidence and enabling this to be easily and accurately reported on Leading the development and management of an integrated customer relationship management system Setting and monitoring performance against agreed customer service standards to be applied across all their touch points (web, contact centre, office staff etc.) including those managed by external contractors Taking an active role in the management of any external contracts which involve direct customer service and the management of customer information Ensuring information is stored in accordance with best practice and regulatory requirements
The successful candidate will have:
Experience within a similar role in an evidence-based organisation, including public sector: local government, NHS, or academia for example A background of specifying requirements for and using Information Management solutions, particularly CRM systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics would be advantageous) An understanding of the development and rollout of an organisation wide information strategy An understanding of legal requirements and best practice in managing information and customer data ideally with experience with a government interface and the requirements of the freedom of information act A degree or equivalent relevant qualification is desirable
Strong written and verbal communications skills are essential, as are exceptional project management skills and the ability to balance a number of projects simultaneously.
