I’m pleased to announce that the results of the 2012 CR & Sustainability Salary Survey have now been released. The report offers comprehensive data in relation to the remuneration, responsibilities and backgrounds of people working in these specialist roles.
I’m also pleased to say that the overall impression that we’ve gleaned from the results is a positive one. With other job surveys reporting pay freezes and job losses, this global survey of 847 professionals gives an encouraging insight into one of the few, highly resilient employment sectors - indicating both growth and recession-bucking salary rises.
In the report you can expect to find:
- Remuneration data
- Hiring trends
- The varied backgrounds of corporate responsibility and sustainability professionals
- Job satisfaction
- Job growth data within the sector
- International comparison
The foreword has been contributed by Ronan Dunne, Chief Executive Officer of Telefonica UK, and there’s commentary from senior sustainability professionals from RWE npower, ArcelorMittal, Sky, Reckitt Benckiser, Novartis, British American Tobacco and Cisco Systems. In addition, the views of consultancies SustainAbility and Best Foot Forward, and representatives from the charity and start-up sectors (the Institute for Sustainability and Revise) make for an even-handed and engaging read.
We hope you enjoy it, but most of all find it insightful and useful.
