The top honour in the Corporate Register.com Reporting Awards 2012 has gone to Coca-Cola Enterprises for its corporate responsibility report.
The report, titled Committed to 2020: Shaping a Sustainable Future in Europe, won the company Best Report, in the awards run by Corporate Register.
Coca-Cola was a runner-up last year and won for the firm’s sixth annual corporate responsibility and sustainability report. It also won in the Best Carbon Disclosure category.
A call for entries from the Corporate Register attracted 93 reports from 27 countries, all published between September 2011 and September 2012.
Runners-up this year for Best Report included Vodafone Group and Marks and Spencer. IT giant Hewlett-Packard, was in seventh place this year, having been awarded the No. 1 position in 2010.
Vodafone Group was also a runner-up in the Best Carbon Disclosure award, along with Royal Dutch Shell.
Marks and Spencer was selected by voters as the winner in the Openness and Honesty category. Microsoft and Natura Cosmeticos SA received runners-up honours.
The Walt Disney Company won Creativity in Communications, while the runners-up for this award were Microsoft Corporation and Hewlett-Packard.
The CR Reporting Awards were introduced in August 2007 and while all users of Corporate Register can vote in the awards, they cannot vote for themselves
