Acre has been engaged by a longstanding FM client to source a QHSE Lead that will manage the delivery of a high value HSE Management System to a global professional services client. This role will be based in London, but will be responsible for a regional support to multiple locations.

Reporting to the QHSE Director the you will be responsible for providing Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety guidance and support to the FM Senior management team. This is to ensure that the FM contracts are able to demonstrate compliance to legal requirements and to be able to maintain its accreditations.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide QHSE leadership guidance and support to the FM management team
  • Work with the FM contract based operational teams and colleagues in the wider FM QHSE team to develop, and through active leadership of QHSE matters facilitate, the implementation of a improvement plan
  • Provide assurance of QHSE performance to account management through the delivery of programmed audits, inspections and site visits
  • Ensure that bid and mobilisation teams have the necessary support and advice, as requested, to effectively agree QHSE requirements for the contract
  • Where assigned, maintain procedures and supporting materials such as toolbox talks and guidance to ensure our client continues to meet its legal requirements, maintain its accreditations and achieve expected standards
  • Complete the waste tracking in line with clients processes

As the key point of contact on this high value account, the successful candidate will have delivered HSE services to large corporate clients and have excellent engagement skills.

The successful candidate will have:

  • CMIOSH status (or similar associations as a minimum) and / or (at least) Associate membership of a professional environmental organisation such as IEMA
    • An audit qualification and have experience of leading internal and external audits
    • Experience of providing support within either; Building Services, Facilities Management or M&E sectors
    • Significant experience in delivery of QHSE training to large organisations
    • Experience in the development and implementation of systems to meet the requirements of ISO or OHSAS standards for safety and/or environment
