Acre is currently working with a globally recognised manufacturing firm to identify an innovative, experienced and competent Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager. This role is the functional health and safety lead for a complex site that is of strategic importance to the business' European presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective strategies and policies for the continuous improvement of health and safety and fire risk on site
  • Manage and build relationships with external regulators and authorities
  • Coordinate accurate and relevant monthly reporting to the senior management committee and group
  • Drive the improvement of wellbeing and overall safety culture on site

Due to the complex and high-risk nature of the site, we are looking to speak with experienced professionals that have previous experience in a similar environment and have the ability to engage with employees at all levels within the business, from the shop floor to Directors.

The successful candidate will have:

  • NEBOSH/NCRQ Diploma or equivalent
  • Working experience in OHSAS18000
  • Experience in complex manufacturing environments (24/7 preferred)
  • Previous experience of improving safety culture on a site
